Titan Crane & Rigging, Inc. was awarded this government project due to our extensive history with providing our customers a turn-key service. Titan Crane & Rigging, Inc. utilized 3D Lift Plan for countless hours for this project specifically. Dylan and the project salesman spent hours on the jobsite and in the office going over CAD Drawings, Building Blueprints and much more to determine the correct size crane and crew to perform every scope of the job. This project was very extensive and there were four contractors to assist in this building, therefore we had to make sure we were setting up our customers and operators for success.
There were many factors and concerns with erecting the building, placing a crane inside the skeleton of the building to install the platforms and ensure there was enough clearance and head room for a crane and to build the elevating transfer vehicle. This project was a start to finish job for Titan Crane and it was our duty to make sure every customer was provided with great rates, reliable cranes, perfect crane placements and lift planning. We were able to use precise measuring and illustrate our site with 3D Lift Plan to show our customers and all parties involved that we in fact could perform this job flawlessly and we did just that!
3D Lift Plan is used at Titan Crane every single day, its not just a tool here, it’s a necessity and more or less like having a personal engineer in our office and on the go. I resolve many questions and concerns from general contractors, safety officers and engineers. Specifically, on this project the primary concerns were outrigger spread between the secondary steel columns inside the warehouse, the boom height/head room clearances from roof beams to tip of the boom and ground bearing pressures on the new concrete pad that was poured months prior to arrival. 3D Lift Plan was the right and only program to determine and illustrate that our selected cranes/boom trucks were able to operate safely and not to damage anything.
I was able to build the entire building to scale, every single steel column, beam, cross-member and joist were drawn to scale by height/length/width. I wanted to make sure that the product I was drawing was to be delivered to all involved parties without any concerns. I was able to determine the 4 different cranes, swing clearances, dimensions of every object drawn, ground bearing pressures and much more.
This rendering took me days to draw, I wanted to make sure it was perfect. The one thing that sets Titan Crane apart in this competition and on our projects is that I will not only be the person to walk your site, but I’ll be the one to bid the project, do your critical lift and 3D Lift Plans and possibly be the operator on your project as well. Here at Titan Crane, we want to give the best service possible and without 3D Lift Plan it wouldn’t be possible.
In summary, 3D Lift Plan has been and always will have a positive impact on Titan Crane & Rigging, Inc. It has improved our day-to-day operations on every project. Using this program has become our savior on many projects and has alleviated many issues that crane companies face daily.
